About the DM Bootcamp
The Manaverse Digital Marketing bootcamp is a live course covering how to leverage the exploding potential of social media, content creation, SEO, Google Ads & Analytics, and Facebook & Instagram Ads, and the emerging technology of AI.
Learn the ins and outs of each of these arms within your marketing mix to walk away with the knowledge and tools to build a powerful marketing machine for your tabletop game store.
This course will set you up for marketing success whether you’re launching a new game store, or taking your existing operation online. You’ll also walk away with access to templates and resources developed in the trenches to make creating campaigns a breeze.
During the Manaverse Digital Marketing Bootcamp you will learn:
Module 1: Your Website and SEO
How to optimize your website for conversions and mobile traffic to turn it into a 24/7 sales machine, while also making sure it is ADA compliant and protected from the frivolous lawsuits that are plaguing tabletop game stores across North America. We’ll go over how to tailor your website so that it moves visitors along the customer journey, tells your story and creates a good user experience, and the technical fundamentals of search engine optimization, keyword research, and getting your website ranking on search engines like Google.
We’ll also explore solutions on how to make your website ADA compliant and what that means for your business, and how you can use tools like ChatGPT to find valuable SEO opportunities for your game store and create a strategy around them.
Module 2: Your Customer Avatar and Content Creation
We’re going to go over some exercises to discover your customer avatars so you can understand what your customer wants and needs, and how you tailor your marketing message to speak directly to them.
We’ll also go over how to create content that drives organic traffic from search engines like Google while also developing trust and authority for your business, so that you can turn non-gamers and mainstream people into repeat customers. This includes using tools like ChatGPT to create foundational content and copy for your website that connects with your SEO strategy.
Module 3: Email Marketing and Automation
In this module, you’re going to find out why email marketing is one of the most effective digital marketing strategies for growth. Discover how to grow an email list, and use email marketing automation and newsletters to drive revenue for your game store.
We’ll also go over the different email marketing providers, email best practices, the sequences that every game store should have in place to drive sales, and how to build an offer that gets people to sign up for your list happily.
Module 4: Social Media
In this module, you’re going to find out how to create a framework for social media the gets your followers engaged and so won’t have to wonder what to post and best practices for making the most of your time spent on social media platforms. We’ll also talk about engaging your community with groups using tools like Discord, and how to use video on platforms like TikTok to reach new customers.
Module 5: Google Ads
Find out how to set up some of the most effective paid ad campaigns you can using the Google Ads platform. Learn how to create the campaigns from scratch, how to target the right audience segments and keywords to maximize sales, the different campaign objectives, how to write headlines and copy that get people to take action, and how to integrate your ecommerce platform with Google Merchant Center and Google Ads to make the most of the Shopping network and product focused campaigns.
You’ll also learn which metrics to pay attention to so that you can understand how effective your campaigns are and if there are any holes in your funnel that need to be fixed.
Module 6: Facebook Ads
Let’s dive into paid traffic and how to use Facebook ads to fuel the sales engine of your game store. Learn how to set up ads that sell products directly on Facebook at a consistent profit, how to use a simple offer and lead ad to grow your email list, and how to test new audiences and campaigns.

The Manaverse Digital Marketing Bootcamp is a four week live course. Sessions are delivered Tuesdays and Thursdays each week at 12pm EST with recordings available for those that can’t attend live.
Each module will be 90 minutes of condensed learning on the nuts and bolts of implementing that particular digital marketing strategy for your game store.
We’ll also have a Q&A period after each module and two office hours sessions, the first on August 17th and the second on August 31st. Office hours are the perfect opportunity to bring your questions and get hands on help troubleshooting any issues.

Should someone without digital marketing experience enroll in the Bootcamp?
Yes! All of the modules offer foundational learning principles, and gradually go more in-depth as they go along.
I don't have a game store yet. Should I enroll in the Bootcamp?
Definitely! Figuring out your digital marketing strategy before you launch is a major factor in your long term success. The strategies we teach will help establish your game store during the first 12 months of being in business and will give you a platform to grow from.
Will there be recordings available?
Yes. The sessions are recorded and links are typically sent out to attendees within 24 hours.
I want to have my marketing person go through the bootcamp, is that okay?
Absolutely! If you have a dedicated marketing person on your team that you want to attend, just let us know their name after you purchase the seat.
